In 2014, the "Pearl Accessory Workshop at the Sea" launched, bringing Hong Kong pearl cultivation into the public spotlight.

The effort later helped create the Hong Kong Pearl Cultivation Association to unite the industry and cultivate local pearl.

Supported by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, the project introduced the "Pearl Cultivation and Ecotour" pilot program. It turns traditional techniques into engaging, educational experiences.
